corecore is a collective and platform for sharing and understanding music and linkages within internet culture. They host url and irl events in Amsterdam and sometimes further afield.

corecore lands in Tempel for a night of sonic deep dives and pillowed listening experiences, welcoming three live acts – Panphilia (US), Constanza Castagnet (AR/NL) and Mel Keane (IE/NL). The night will see Tempel’s intimate performance space filled with chopped and fragmented soundscapes, reverberant whispers and unsettling lullabies.

Mel Keane is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Ireland. His music explores various Irish musical traditions, incorporating elements of minimal composition, noise, contemporary sampling techniques, and alternative instrumentalism. He has also performed extensively under the name Frog of Earth and as a member of the ensemble Princ€ss.

Constanza Castagnet is an Argentine artist and composer living in Amsterdam. Her performance Silent Screams investigates how sound can shape narratives. Set in Buenos Aires’ Microcentro during the 1990s, it follows a female vampire hunting businessmen working late in empty offices. Her hyperacusis, an extreme sensitivity to sound, leaves her both powerful and vulnerable. Spoken word, dark lullabies, deep bass, and unsettling electronic sounds weave through the story, gradually dissolving into a suspended, haunting atmosphere.

Panphilia is a person and event series from Virginia, USA. He is also occupied with the project and endeavor Landscaping and co-runs the label and series Foil. Also makes paintings and pieces of writing. He will be performing new material on the heels of MYLAR-Audiofolio, his most recent album, a musical accessory to an unpublished written work.
